The annual CN Tower Climb for United Way is your opportunity to join thousands of fellow community members and change lives as far as the eye can see—from Lake Ontario to Lake Simcoe! Because, by fundraising and conquering all 1,776 steps to the top, you’ll be helping us conquer some of the most persistent social issues facing our region. 2016 Prize Winners
The Top Male Fundraiser is Pat Pambianco, who raised an astonishing $12,597. He won a $2,000 travel voucher, courtesy of Delta Air Lines.
The Top Female Fundraiser is Mary Lou Jorgensen Bacher, who also won a $2,000 travel voucher, courtesy of Delta Air Lines. Mary Lou raised a total of $11,072!
The Runner-Up Male Fundraiser is David Harris. David raised $9,495. He won a $1,000 travel voucher, courtesy of Delta Air Lines.
The Runner-Up Female Fundraiser is Sandra Cheung. She raised $7,032 and won a $1,000 travel voucher, courtesy of Delta Air Lines.
In the Draw for Top Fundraisers (those who raised $2,500 by November 11), Doug McDonald was awarded a “Staycation Package,” including a two-night stay at an FHRI hotel and a $200 gift card for 360 The Restaurant at the CN Tower.
The Top Student Fundraiser is Zoe Friedman, from Northern Secondary, who won a Fit Bit watch. It’s Zoe’s third year winning this award, raising $2,265! (Since 2013, she’s raised over $7,000!)
