United Way GenNext Cabinet members

The next generation of community builders

GenNext® encourages people in their 20s and 30s to become involved with United Way—to more fully understand the issues that confront people in our region, to actively connect with and contribute to the community, and to influence positive change through meaningful volunteering and giving opportunities. As part of our ongoing efforts, we work with a volunteer GenNext Cabinet to organize fundraising events (including our signature event, Rouge) and to build a next generation of Ambassadors who can spearhead workplace campaigns. Enthusiastic? Passionate about making our great region even greater? Then, join GenNext today!

What do we do?

  • Learn — There are many ways to learn about United Way and GenNext. Join us at one of our many events, such as a Neighbourhood Walk or GenNext Speaks.
  • Act — Through activities like Days of Caring or our Poverty Simulator, GenNext provides opportunities of many shapes and sizes to get involved.
  • Give — Contribute to the work of United Way by partying at Rouge, climbing the CN Tower, running the Rat Race, and of course, participating in workplace campaigns across the region.
